When my sensory integrative faculties are misbehaving, I like to find a nice quiet place to sit and think, or do nothing. This photograph is a prime example of the perfect place I seek. It is one of my favorite photographs taken on a vacation to the Mediterranean. While actually a color photograph taken on a cloudy day, the grayish hues give the perception of a black and white photograph. It was shot from a moving car along the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France. (Click on the photograph for a better view.)
